PARRY ST

The existing building was separated into 3 separate tenancies. The proposal amalgamates these into a single residence restoring the integrity of the building.

 

Minor internal alterations to the existing dwelling improve the planning, performance, flow and quality of spaces. The existing footprint of the building is maintained but the Southern roof is changed to capture sunlight and promote good cross ventilation in the living areas. A Deck addition is included with the proposal to provide connection to outdoor living and amenity benefits including landscaped areas and privacy to residents. The roof for the addition is a simple form that balances with the heritage of the existing building. Articulation of the form is used to create moments of light and shadow play through the year.
